Dr. Kai Gregor Klinger advises clients on financial and strategic communications, with a particular focus on IPOs, M&A transactions, restructurings, and complex capital market situations. His core areas of expertise include capital markets, corporate finance, shareholder activism, regulatory affairs, and corporate governance.
Most recently, he served as Chief Markets Officer (CMO) at a publicly listed European asset manager. Prior to that, he held senior roles at both large corporations and family-owned businesses, where he was responsible for key functions such as investor relations, M&A, treasury, risk and reputation management, as well as internal and external communications.
Kai began his career in transaction advisory at one of the Big Four firms and in investment banking at a major international bank. He studied economics at the University of Heidelberg and earned a doctorate in business administration from the University of Mannheim. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, reading, and spending time in his second home in France.
