Alexander Schmidt has more than 20 years of experience in strategic corporate communications. In various roles at leading communications consultancies such as Edelman, GAULY, and WBCO, he advised listed companies, private equity firms, and mid-sized enterprises – particularly on capital markets topics, restructurings, and special situations.
He advises on communications related to corporate finance matters, restructurings, and turnarounds. Alexander is also highly experienced in issues management and crisis communications. His recent mandates include advising a listed technology company through a complex restructuring involving multiple creditor and stakeholder groups.
Alexander studied literature and history and holds an Executive MBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
